Post Basic

The Post Basic in Perioperative Nursing is a 6-month full-time program designed to develop skilled, competent, and confident nurses in the field of surgical and operating room care.

This intensive program prepares registered nurses to manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, ensuring patient safety and efficient surgical outcomes through evidence-based practice.

– Theory (10 weeks)
– Clinical Posting (10 weeks)
– Study + Exam (2 Weeks)
– Semester Break ( 2 Weeks)

– Registered Nurse with the Malaysian Nursing Board
– Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
– Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
– Minimum of 2 years clinical working experience
– At least 3 months working experience in perioperative nursing
– Medically fit and free from physical or mental disabilities
– Not pregnant at the time of course enrollment or during the course
