| During the month of Ramadan, Vision University College (VUC) organized a community outreach initiative known as the “Program Bubur Lambuk”, where bubur lambuk, a traditional Ramadan porridge, was prepared and distributed to members of the community.
For this meaningful programme, VUC collaborated with Vision TVET College, whose students and lecturers played a key role in preparing the food. From early morning until the afternoon, the Vision TVET team worked diligently to cook the bubur lambuk and prepare fried bread to accompany the meal. Once the food was ready, it was carefully packed by hand into containers for distribution. After the packing process was completed, students from VUC assisted in transporting the prepared bubur lambuk to the designated distribution area. The VUC team then distributed the food and vouchers to students and members of the public who stopped by to receive the meals. Many students visited the distribution area after finishing their classes. The warm meal was greatly appreciated, especially by those who had a long day of lectures. In addition, bubur lambuk was also given to passersby in their vehicles so they could enjoy the meal when breaking their fast. Through the combined efforts of Vision TVET College and Vision University College, the programme successfully brought the community together during this special month of fasting. It is our hope that this small gesture of kindness helps strengthen community spirit and spreads goodwill during the holy month of Ramadan. |
