From sales associate to certified optician — built on strong fundamentals, not just a certificate. My interest in the optical field began as a sales associate, but without proper qualifications, I could not perform eye examinations. That led me to pursue my studies at Vision. The programme taught me that becoming a certified optician is about building a strong foundation in optical knowledge and understanding the eye. I am grateful to the lecturers for their guidance and support.

From Vision UC to clinic owner, my Physiotherapy journey begins here. Completing the three year Diploma in Physiotherapy at Vision University College gave me a strong foundation in patient care, rehabilitation, and clinical practice. Through hands on practical training and guidance from supportive lecturers, I gained the knowledge and confidence to grow in this meaningful healthcare profession. The experience I gained at Vision has played an important role in shaping my journey as a physiotherapist and clinic owner.

Studying Health Science at Vision University College broadened my understanding of the many opportunities in the healthcare field. The strong balance of theory and practical skills prepared me well for my role as an Emergency Response Instructor at ASEC, equipping me with essential knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Today, I am a registered Doctor in the United Kingdom and a registered ultrasonographer with ASUM and ARDMS. My journey at Vision University College will always remain close to my heart. From day one, I was warmly welcomed and professionally trained in ultrasound by dedicated tutors and supportive peers. I’m proud to be part of the front office team at Moxy Hotel. I’m grateful for the journey and confident that I made the right choice. I’m Muhamad Hafiz Husaini bin Suhaimi. Although I initially wanted to study culinary arts, I chose management instead—and I have no regrets. The balance of theory and hands-on training prepared me to take on various roles, from phone operator to concierge, front desk, and even the kitchen.

The practical exposure, strong guidance, and supportive environment at Vision played a key role in shaping my professional journey. I graduated from VUC during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many institutions shifted fully online, my lecturers ensured we still received offline, hands-on internship training, which was essential in building real clinical skills as a physiotherapy student. Today, I am working as a physiotherapist in a hospital in South Korea.

While working at Mediviron Sea Park Clinic, the Medical Imaging programme helped me manage patients confidently and professionally before and after procedures. During my practical training at HTAR, I gained hands-on experience in patient care and operating imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and fluoroscopy.

I am working as a Radiographer, and the curriculum at Vision has prepared me well to handle my daily responsibilities with confidence and competence. I completed my Diploma in Medical Imaging at Vision University College, where I built a strong foundation and gained valuable knowledge in the field.

During my training at Hospital Penawar, I gained hands-on experience with advanced imaging equipment and various modalities essential for patient diagnosis. The DMI offers broad career opportunities through a well-structured and practical curriculum. The knowledge and skills I gained from this programme have supported my career growth and prepared me for strong professional prospects.

After graduating from the DHS program at Vision in 2020, I progressed from a clinic assistant to a managerial role within just two years. I’m Muhammad Fitri, currently a Branch Manager at a well-known clinic. My time at Vision was truly meaningful. The supportive lecturers created a nurturing environment that felt like home. I’m deeply grateful for their guidance and encouragement throughout my journey.

The real-life fire cases I was involved in have shaped me into a more disciplined and capable officer. During my final semester, I underwent industrial training at the Kelantan State Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) in the Fire Investigation Unit, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in fire investigation and emergency operations. I joined a uniformed organization and trained at PULAPOL Dungun.

My passion for sonography began during my internship at University Malaya Hospital, which inspired me to pursue Medical Ultrasonography at Vision. The hands-on training at Vision Diagnostic Centre strengthened my skills and prepared me for clinical practice. It has not been easy, but I am proud to pave the way for future sonographers.

Today, I am proud to serve the nation as part of Unit 21 Gerup Gerak Khas Mersing. I am an alumna of the Law Enforcement programme at Vision. After two and a half years of study, I completed my six-month practical training at Jabatan Perancang Bandar dan Desa, Pejabat Batu 7 Sandakan. I would like to sincerely thank all my lecturers for their guidance and support throughout my journey at Vision. Their dedication has helped shape who I am today.

My journey at Vision University College has been amazing! The hands-on training prepared me well, and now I’m registering with the Malaysian Optical Council to become a licensed optician.

The comfortable learning environment and positive atmosphere helped me stay focused and build my confidence throughout my studies. The hands-on training made me job-ready, not just exam-ready, and the lecturers truly cared and pushed me to improve. Shortly after graduating, I received a job offer at Island Hospital, Penang, marking an important milestone in my journey.

When I joined Vision University College, the lecturers and tutors are really helpful, I am here today as a sonographer because of them. In my opinion, it is important that for those taking the course about medical imaging to continue to further their studies, as it is really beneficial as sonographers are really sought after.

From student to sonographer — what a journey! After graduating, I began my career as a sonographer at Island Hospital. Stepping into a professional environment opened the door to so many new learning opportunities. The seniors were incredibly supportive, always guiding and encouraging me. Every day brings new experiences, and the knowledge from college truly helps in my daily work.

From Learning to Applying Knowledge in The Industry During my studies at Vision, I experienced clear learning materials and supportive lecturers who explained topics thoroughly and provided guidance for exams. My current role in costing management applies similar concepts learned, such as labour and overhead costs.

Vision equipped me with industry-relevant knowledge, practical business skills, and the confidence to navigate today’s dynamic corporate environment. Through hands-on projects and real-world case studies, I developed the adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving skills required in the workplace. My lecturers challenged me to think critically, communicate professionally, and continuously strive for excellence beyond the classroom.

Every image tells a story. Every patient matters. That’s the power of radiography. It started with curiosity and a passion to learn. Through every exposure, I gained skills, confidence, and real-world experience. It’s more than just taking images—it’s about caring with purpose. Challenges shaped me, but determination kept me going. Today, I’m proud to be working as a radiographer at a leading private healthcare company. Grateful for the journey and excited for what’s ahead.
