Bringing Medical Imaging to Life: DMI Visit to UKM

Students from the Diploma in Medical Imaging (DMI) programme had the valuable opportunity to visit the anatomy museum at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), gaining an eye-opening and enriching learning experience. During the visit, students explored a wide range of medical sculptures and were introduced to advanced machinery used in the medical imaging field, allowing them to better connect theory with real-world applications.

Guided by knowledgeable UKM representatives, students were taken through various sections of the museum, where their curiosity was met with insightful explanations. They explored diverse medical imaging equipment, detailed anatomical models, and an extensive archive of demonstration setups. A key highlight of the visit was the hands-on exposure to advanced scanning machinery, offering students a rare glimpse into modern imaging technology in practice.

At Vision University College, we are committed to providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities like this. Such visits not only enhance students’ academic understanding but also inspire greater passion and readiness for their future careers.
