Open Distance Learning (ODL)

Open Distance Learning (ODL), also known as e-learning or online education, refers to educational programs that allow students to gain knowledge and skills remotely, usually through the internet. ODL enables students to access lectures, readings, assignments, and assessments online, eliminating the need for physical presence in a traditional classroom. Through online portals, students can interact with instructors, collaborate with peers, and engage in self-paced learning, making education more flexible and accessible.
