    Programme Info

    Increasing public awareness about early cancer detection has caused the medical institutions to need more radiographers to undertake various health screening tasks. Operating an in-house Diagnostic clinic, Vision College is able to offer the Medical Imaging studnets ample opportunities to deal with many patients directly during the training.

    Apart from the clinical exposure at our in-house diagnostic center, student of the programme will also undergo clinical training with our partnered government and private hospitals. Vision College is committed to producing well-rounded radiographers as we strive to ensure that the students are ready to cope with the demands of the industry. The Diploma in Medical Imaging at Vision College trains students to be well-versed with various screening methods, e.g.Xrays, CT Scans, MRI scans, Mammograms, and Fluoroscopy, etc. Students will also be offered the option to undergo workshops pertaining to Medical Ultrasonography to pick up some basic ultrasound knowledge.

    Accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and supported by official partnerships with various International universities, students of the programme will be ready to further their Bachelor’s studies at their preferred universities.

    Entry Requirement

    • Pass SPM/O-Level with 5 credits, including Mathematics and a science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science). Pass grades in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language is mandatory.
    • Completed Vision College’s Certificate in Science, with a CGPA of 2.75/4.00
    • Other equivalent qualifications

    Entry Requirement

    Malaysian Students:

    • Pass SPM/O-Level/UEC with 5 credits in Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics (Additional/Modern), 1 science subject(Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science) and 2 credit in other subjects and with a pass in Sejarah & EnglishEnglish Language Requirements for :
      • Malaysian students – Pass grade in SPM’s English Language
      • Malaysians who studied abroad – IELTS Band 5.5; TOEFL 550 or
      • Pass grade in 1119 English Language subject IGCSE


      International Students:

      Pass IGCSE with 5 credits, including Mathematics and one of the following:
      General Science, Biology, Physics/Chemistry (Pass in Biology)

      English Language Requirements for
      International Students – IELTS Band 5.5; TOEFL 550 or Pass grade in 1119 English Language subject IGCSE

    Programme Info

    Opticians are eyecare professionals with sound understanding in refraction, ophthalmic lenses, and dispensing. With the help of various ophthalmic machineries, opticians read their client’s eyesight, dispense a pair of corrective spectacles and provide them with general eyecare tips to protect eyesight.

    Did you know that a registered Optician in Malaysia is eligible to run for eyecare businesses with his/her license? How does one become an Optician? To become an Optician, you need to complete a Diploma in Opticianry and register with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC).

    At Vision College, students of Diploma in Opticianry (DIO) will get to experience an immersive learning environment which involves practical and clinical sessions that are conducted in clinical lab, dispensing lab, and our in-house eye care centre. Additionally, industrial attachment with optical or optometry centres will also be provided for students to gain crucial real-life experiences, while enhancing their communication and interpersonal skills. By completing DIO, students will acquire the skills in diagnosing refractive errors, prescribing and dispensing vision aids.

    Upon successful completion, graduates will be registered with the prestigious Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) and become licensed opticians. This programme is approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), thus enabling graduates to secure a rewarding career or further their studies at any higher education institutions.

    Entry Requirement

    • Passed SPM with 4 credits, including English and 3 out of these 4 subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
    • Fellow of British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO) UK or equivalent;
    • Complete UEC with 4 credits, including English and 3 out of the 4 subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry; or Mathematics). Passing SPM examination with a certificate is mandatory.
    • Completed Certificate of Optical Technology with a CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
    • Completed Vision College’s Certificate in Science

    The rapid growth in non-invasive medicine in recent years coupled with an ageing population have heightened the demand for specialists especially in the niche area of rehabilitative care and physical therapy.

    Trained at Vision Physiotherapy Centre, students of Vision College’s Diploma in Physiotherapy learn to treat patients holistically whilst minimizing risks, ensuring patient’s safety and working within a legal and ethical setting. The curriculum includes lessons and practical sessions related to Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Cardio Physiotherapy, Neurological Physiotherapy and a 6-month internship with one of Vision College’s many industrial partners. Vision College is also the first and only education institution in Malaysia to include Ultrasound Treatment therapy in its teaching plans.
