Vision University College students and staff joined Food for Gelandangan for a meaningful Friday night community outreach, turning compassion into practical support for people in need.
A team of 16 students and seven staff members took part in the initiative. Together, they helped share essential goods, pre-loved items and contributions donated by members of the Vision community.
Students and Staff Step Forward to Serve
Community service gives students an opportunity to understand social needs beyond the classroom. During the outreach, Vision volunteers contributed their time, energy and care while supporting the work carried out by Food for Gelandangan every Friday.
The experience showed that positive change does not always begin with a large project. A donation, a useful item or simply the willingness to be present can make a meaningful difference. By working together, students and staff saw how small actions can become a source of dignity, comfort and hope.
