Vision University College conducted a Solat Hajat and Yasin Recitation Programme on 1 October 2026 at ECA Hall, bringing together 49 students for an evening of prayer, reflection and spiritual strengthening.
The meaningful campus programme was organised by the Student Affairs Department with the involvement of the Student Representative Council. It was led by Ustaz Anwar from the SS6 Residents’ Association, who guided participants through the recitation and prayer session.
A Meaningful Evening of Prayer and Reflection
The programme provided students with an opportunity to step away from their daily routines and gather in a calm, respectful environment. Through the recitation of Yasin and Solat Hajat, participants were able to seek blessings, reflect on their personal journeys and strengthen their faith together.
Holding the session at ECA Hall allowed members of the campus community to share a collective spiritual experience. The programme encouraged mutual support and reminded students that personal well-being includes emotional, social and spiritual dimensions.
Supporting Holistic Student Development
Vision University College recognises that education extends beyond academic learning. Student development also includes opportunities to build character, resilience, confidence and a strong sense of community.
The Solat Hajat and Yasin Recitation Programme supported these goals by creating a space for reflection and togetherness. Students were encouraged to approach their studies and personal responsibilities with renewed focus, gratitude and determination.
Collaboration Between Student Affairs and Student Leaders
The involvement of the Student Affairs Department and Student Representative Council demonstrated the importance of collaboration in organising inclusive campus activities. Student-led participation helps programmes remain relevant to the needs and experiences of the campus community.
The college also extends its appreciation to Ustaz Anwar from the SS6 Residents’ Association for leading the session and sharing his guidance with students. Community involvement strengthened the programme and contributed to its welcoming atmosphere.
Strengthening Campus Unity
Bringing 49 students together for prayer and reflection helped build a stronger sense of connection among participants. Shared experiences such as this can encourage empathy, respect and mutual encouragement, particularly during demanding periods of the academic calendar.
Vision University College continues to support programmes that promote spiritual well-being, student engagement and personal growth. These initiatives complement classroom learning by helping students develop as balanced individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to their communities.
The college thanks every student, organiser and community representative who contributed to the success of the Solat Hajat and Yasin Recitation Programme.
