Vision University College (VUC) warmly welcomed its new students during Day 1 of the July Intake Orientation Programme, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the newest members of the Vision family.
The day started with student registration, where new students received guidance from the university team and prepared for their first official day on campus. The welcoming atmosphere helped students feel more comfortable as they stepped into a new learning environment and met fellow coursemates from different programmes.
Students also attended important briefing sessions that introduced them to university procedures, academic expectations, student support services, and campus life. These briefings were designed to help students understand what to expect throughout their studies and how to make the most of their time at Vision University College.
To create a more relaxed and friendly environment, ice-breaking activities were also conducted. Through these activities, students had the opportunity to interact with one another, build confidence, and begin forming new friendships. The session encouraged communication, teamwork, and a sense of belonging among the new intake.
One of the key highlights of the day was the opportunity for students to meet their lecturers. During this session, students were introduced to their respective programmes and learned more about their courses, subjects, learning outcomes, and future career pathways. This gave them a clearer understanding of their academic direction and the support available from their lecturers.
The orientation continued with a campus tour, allowing students to explore the university facilities and become familiar with important areas around the campus. This helped them feel more prepared and confident as they begin their studies.
Day 1 of orientation was more than just an introduction. It was a meaningful first step into university life, giving students the confidence, knowledge, and connections they need to begin their journey at Vision University College.
